Proud new parents!!
 

That's right, we are proud parents of another cat (kitten). AJ and I picked her up tonight from the Golden Valley Humane Society. Her name is Florin (not our choice, but it's kind of cute... we call her Flo for short). :D She's only 10 weeks old, so she's got that kitten spunk in her.

I love cats too! I got my cat about a month ago from my cousin. She's probably around 15-20 years old, so she's an old one! But is was my cat when I was in like Junior High, and my dad kept her up until a year ago, he gave it to my cousin because she doesn't get along with other cats. And when I got my house, my cousin gave her to me! She's old, but still playful, very talkative, very friendly, very happy! The best cat we've ever had. Her name is Freckles. She's not as "cute" anymore because she's so old, but still the best cat I've ever had! (if you look at her face, you can see she has freckles, hence the name!)

Ya, when I start traveling more with my job, it's gunna suck to leave the cat for that long, but my dad will take care of her I'm sure. And I love how Calico cats have the white paws and chest!!

Cats are always fun. Not only do they amuze themselves, but they make us laugh when they screw up.

We are having fun with our new puppy. His name is Poncho (although we toyed with the names "Killer" or "Radar") and he's a Chihuahua/Rat Terrier mix. Has the stance of a Miniature Pinscer, but the for the most part he looks like a Rat Terrier in the nose.

i am not too big of a fan of cats, but they are hillareous to watch and always playfull...
i have a chiuaua terrier mix as well..

watch out on feeding him, we overfed our dog, he should be 9lb but he is like 18lb ...
skinny legs and a big body, lazy as shit and scared like no dog i've seen before he barks at anything..

Congrats on your new baby guys, trust me it's much easier than the "real deal"....

I do like cats but I'm very alergic to them, so much so my then wife to be gave up her baby kitty to a good home just to be with me as my wife , <True Love!>

Anyway we both Love animals alot so we picked up these dobie sister pups a couple years back.

Man they sure have grown quite a bit since then, and really are the sweetest dogs I've ever known, IF they know you!

Enes- I know that all too well. He was 9lbs. when we got him with his ribs sticking out. We started getting him fattened up. I was feeding him 1/3rd cup of food in the morning and the same at night. Well, Terina was doing 1/2 cup each time she did it. So he got to about 11.5lbs at his last checkup. So we have cut him back to the 1/3rd cup per feeding. He only gets fed twice a day. The vet said that is the perfect amount to feed him and he should settle in to about 10lbs. and stay there.

He is also extremely active! We have a hard time keeping up with him. He's only 1-1/2 years old so he's still a little baby. Fun as hell though!!

The food dish is always full 24/7/365

he only eats when we eat and only eats like 1/2 cup day that i know of .. not counting the food that my wife gives him or my mom, and or visitors during the day..
