Viva Espana!
 

I'm leaving Saturday for a month long work trip to Spain. I love traveling so I think this will be awesome. I'm not going to be in a big city really, but apparently there's a lot of old castle ruins around there, so I'm definately bringing my camera. We're going over there to install new control upgrades for their huge 300T Polar Crane. That'll be pretty sweet to see too I think!!

Anywho here's the hotel I'm staying in, pretty f-in sweet!!

Be sure to check out a beach, the spanish girls love to run around topless! There was and exchange student in high school and the "parents" couldn't keep her top on at the beach. It was awesome!!

You will have a blast. I went last summer for two weeks and I wish i could go again. But I traveled around Spain. Barcelona, Madrid, Pamplona, Costa Brava, and more. Make sure that when your there you go to a discoteqe (sp?). It's a kind of club that is crazy wild. There are stripper poles and 3 or more floors of dancing Spaniards. It's awesome.

Holy shit. Well just thought I'd update everyone a little bit on my trip! It's been about a week now. So far things have been not bad, we're waiting for access into the reactor which hasn't happened yet but is about to. Once that happens we will be busy mother fuckers. So everyday except one, has consisted of going to the bars around the hotel and getting drunk, and one day we went to a bar somewhere, I have no idea where. We're cruising around in brand new Turbo Diesel Volvo S40 and S60's, pretty pimp. Weather has been beautiful except today was pretty rainy. I heard MN has some real nice weather too.... NOT!!

Yesterday we celebrated St Patties day down the road at our usual bar called El Hostoria. To sum it up, we started drinking around 6:30, didn't get home until about 2am. Drinking the entire night, got these Awesome joker looking Guiness St Patricks Day hats for drinking Guiness there. And no need to eat here. When you order drinks, you get a little snack with it for free. Anything from little diced potatoes covered in garlic shit, to little sauges, to potatoe chips. So you drink, and eat that, and you're set. And to top it off, none of us paid a dime last night. We kinda know the owner, and dude didn't take a penny from us.

As we left, we hear music coming from somewhere. We go into this bar full of spanish punk rockers, and here come us 4 white americans in stupid joker hats trashed. We got up in the mix, started moshing to some spanish rock shit. Ended up leaving. And then apparently I got home and wrote on here in Tauni's thread. Crazy shit. So ya, so far it's been pretty sweet. The country is beautiful and full of historic looking cities. Old castles all over the place, caste ruins, look out tower things, beautiful mountains with snowy peaks, smaller hilly mountains covered in trees. I will probably be coming back in the fall too so I'm excited about that too.

OK well that's all for now. Gotta take care of some other shit while I have internet time left. Hope all is going well in your neck of the woods!

Spain rocks. The best looking women we saw around the Mediterranean were in Spain. If you get a chance, head down to Palma De Mallorca, lots of beach, sand, women and booze. Ahh to be young and single again.

SORRY I GOTTA MAKE THIS 2 POSTS AGAIN


We have this great club down the street actually, it's called Erotica. I'm bout it bout it!! OK well I haven't been there yet, but I will. Looks like a god damn theme park, and the theme is sex for 40 Euro!! But we've been working 13 hour days, 7 days a week lately. My schedule is something like wake up at 5am, meet downstairs at 5:30, head to this gas station next to the plant about 40 minutes away, eat some egg/potatoe shit covered in tabasco so it atleast tastes like something for about 4 bux. Work from 7am(ish)-7pm(ish), come home and eat a Tosta at the bar down the road for 3bux, have a couple beers for 2bux each, come home and pass out by 10ish, and do it all again. So ya, I spend right around 10 or so a day, and they are paying me 81/day for food alone, so I'm making out like a bandit there!!

So ya lately work has been taking up a lot of time. And my buddy has a ton of pics, and I'll prolly get em from him later or when I get home, and I'll post some up so this thread isn't so lame. SHIT I gotta wake up in 5 hours. FUcki me rotten. I'l be home around the 7th ishhh... Another birthday away from home coming up. Got the car up to 200kmh today after work, good stuff. Everyday after wrok work we grab a "Roady Forty" of beer and drive hom an d get shitty. I'm so responcible!!!

THe castle is my hotel, pretty neat. In this first pic, I tried to get a pic with the snowy topped mountains from my balcony. It's really hard to see in the pic, but if you look close you see the snowy peaks, those aren't clouds. The rest is just random pics. This place is just full of nature and history, freakin awesome! And our rental car is in a couple pics too! I love this car, I want to buy one now.

So there's just a lil snap shot of what it's like where I'm living at. Small, but really nice. I couldn't live here that's for sure, but visiting is fun! I may be coming back in October/November to do the install on their 2nd unit, I really hope so!

Ya it's a sweet car, I want one now. The guys I work with beat the shit outta it though. The rear passenger side wheel doesn't sit straight anymore, has a huge gash in it. Little scrapes all over, too bad.

Anywho, so yesterday I wake up to go to work, and I wake up to some sort of huge renaisance festival. Hippy looking people everywhere, we got lit pretty good last night. The food is awesome, chicks are gorgeous!

Oh and I will be home Monday until the weekend, then I'm off to Florida for 3 weeks or so!

I leave for FL on Sunday for three weeks, then I'll be back until like September. Spring and Fall are when I travel, so I should be spending the summer here in MN! Just gimme a ring Aaron. I will be in and out today running errands, and receiving my lost luggage!
