I'm getting one for my next project. Take an old ugly ass Volvo and make it haul some ass! Steve, I might have to hit you up because you always seem to be able to get some old turbo Volvos!

I've dreampt of building a 740 sedan for a long time. Unfortunately, the Talon is project enough for me.

I used to have a volvo 240. I only had it for a couple months because it was turning into a piece of crap and I didn't want to deal with it. It would have been fun to stick a V8 into though. (Or a turbo something.)

Yea I had a dream of finding a 242GT 2 door coupe and stuffing a nice v8 in there. That would own, maybe someday if I ever find one... way too rare.

Too bad the 850s are FWD, otherwise those would be a sweet daily driver.

The S70 sedans are getting pretty cheap now and they came in a turbo AWD flavor. It wouldn't be too tough to soup up.

93-94 850 turbos are FWD, but are cheap, I've seen some around $1000 with a decent body. The R is always sweet, but don't expect to get one of those cheap. Besides, they have the same turbo, the R just runs more boost. You can get a "upgrade kit" for the old 850's that boost them up to 270 horsepower, that's why it's cheaper to just get the regular 850 and maybe throw some R badges on it and the R front bumper and rear spoiler.

Well, I'd be down to clown on a volvo project car. I could contribute some money, maybe we should have the DSMStyle.com project car: an old turbo vulva. I mean volvo. But I've got a t3 sitting around, or a semi turbo, but that's already headed toward a certain buick skylark. T'would be fun times had by all.

Let's make a twin (or somewhat close in size) turbo volvo with megasquirt fuel only. maybe we could swap a v8 from an old chevy into it or something. maybe a diesel engine from a mack truck. anything really.
