I know how mutch everyone like the carnage pics so I desided Id post my own.

When I was getting ready for the dyno day I broke my tranny. today I finally got around to pulling it and heres what I found. Aparently spinning the tires in 4th gear is hard on the drive line.

No my engine seams to take whatever I do to it. It was one of the first ones Mike built before he started treshure hunting. I think it will last a while.

This looks all to familiar for Shane ha hopefully not anymore. I shouldn't be one to talk I blew up three front wheel drive Differentials. sorry for the lose man get that back together asap!

I remember when John did this to an AWD tranny on the way to the dyno a few years back. He then did it to 1st a block away from his house. :D Too bad the Getrash's in the 3S's do the equivalent to the cases once you have enough power to run a 10.

It's that whole loosing traction, then getting it back suddenly that does the trick. Nice little driveline shocks.

Mine would rip apart 4th gear with perfect traction on the street or dyno. Torque is gay.

time to get rid of that 2.4 and get some custom torque killing cams ;)

Yea, a 2.0l, big cams, and a huge turbo should get rid of any torque. Spool at 6000+ RPMs, make 450ft-lbs and 700whp, instead of 600ft-lbs and 700whp with the 2.4l.

Just play around with cam timing until you lose all your torque.

Thats exactly what happened. High boost and the cold road temps made for some crazzy 4th gear pulls. The log says it came apart at 115mph. Im just glad it didnt lock up.
