I've driven one, but not actually drive. Drove one around the block once, got out and the owner told me to get back in the car and drive the fucking thing again. So I did. But I've got my eye on a Silver 05 with 3k for 23,989. ;) 85% chance I'll pass though, cause I'm "responsible" like that. :(

I love my evo, but I miss my 2G. Then again, walking with c06 vettes with a stock evo is pretty damn fun! You would hate the two rear doors tho...I know a guy with a nice 2G he'd let go...

It's a Mitsu Buy back car, so there was an issue with it and that's why it would be that cheap. But it will retain the full 60K 5 year warrenty though.

I want a Silver one, I just like Silver. I wouldn't be picky on the color though, just prefer not to have black or yellow.

Chris, I also know of a guy with a sweet 2G for sale, but I don't think he will take the Jeep in on trade. ;)

We are worrying about buying/selling a house right now, so this is just wet dream'n for me right now.

I was worriedc that once I got my EVO I would put the Talon out to pasture. Luckly that didn't happen. The EVO is a blast to drive, starts and idles well, and has a nice interior. However I still get a big smile every time i drive the Talon. Maby it has somthing to do with the fact that the talon is faster;)

Waiting till I have a time set up for a tune. I don't want to be driving around with them and no tune. I think I'm going to pull the 850 injectors out of the talon and put them into the EVO at the same time, if I find out that they can be run with a decent idle.

I just browsed EvoM briefly. There are some sweet f'n deals out there right now on Evos. Lotsa them going for like 17-25k w/ sweet mods. Of course you have to be careful on who modd'd it though. Past posts will most likely tell you that.

I would like to race an EVO and see how I hold up. Everytime I see one on the highway it's just the occasional head nod or thumbs up. Too much respect for each other to drive carelessly and have a pissing contest. EVOs are the shizznit.

Unless of course you are modded. Or you are thinking about the C5 vette (97 to 04).

If you are stockish and claiming that you are walking away from C6's, I would like to run you with my stock LS1 that weighs 3800lbs. :)

Yeah I just read this thread and was like "huh" when I read that. There are stock Z06s that are in the low 11s. And a C6 can get into the 11s and low 12s with a good driver.

I would take an EVO over a Vette though since I live in Minnesota, if I live somewhere where it didn't snow I would take the Vette in a heart beat.

You're welcome Brent. I drove shotgun in a WRX and gave up the keys to the EVO for you. I hoped you enjoyed it.;) (the keys are still in my pocket btw.)

Allan, drive an EVO through some 40 mph twisties at about 70 and you will truely appreciate an EVO. Man, that is fun. I want one too.

They are fun at 70 in a 40mph corner, and "S" curves are great fun! We have had our "05 Evo MR for over a year and really enjoy it. Gone through a set of tires, and needs a clutch. Had it to the track a few times and it ran low 13's stock. Holds 4 adults and grandkid w/carseat nicely. They are quick little cars and lots of fun to drive! I'm going to teach Janna to drive a stick So Allen can get one! Then we'll get the new clutch!
