Yeah, you know it. Seeing those sexy AWD Spyders at the cookout made me want to jump on the bandwagon!

Ya know I might be able to get some decent money that way, but the process would be slow.

You couldn't keep up with how many cars I've gone through. I'm about ready for change already. ;-)

Car looks good, I'd buy it but then again, that would mean paranoia all over again.

Just my 2 cents but if you spent the little time and money it takes to fix it, you will attract many more potential buyers.

The headliner is super simple, but i'm too lazy right now to fix it. I used the wrong adhesive the first time.
The driveshaft will just get the VFAQ mod when its out of storage, and a new yoke and overhauled xfer case.
I'm trying to find a used door/fender in great condition

any interest in trading for a 2000 ducati 900ss?

Re: 1992 Tsi AWD 6/4 bolt, Shep tranny, Ksports, new motor!

Saturday I am removing the driveshaft and transfer case. The driveshaft carrier bearings are getting filled with silicone to eliminate the thumping as per VFAQ, and I am replacing the Xfer case ouput seal and the driveshaft yoke.

Where else am I gonna put it with stock intercooler piping? And the BOV is recirculated, it's in what people call SUCK THROUGH configuration. I've seen other DSMs with this setup, don't ask me why. And it works.

I replaced the driveshaft slip yoke and u-joint, and the seals in the transfer case, and made the driveshaft and xfer case pretty. I'm in the process of filling the carrier bearing bushings with silicone.

Re: 1992 Tsi AWD 6/4 bolt, Shep tranny, Ksports, new motor!

I just put on an ebay dumped o2 housing that I got from a friend for super cheap, and I smoothed and painted the 14B compressor cover. All new crush washers, new drain tube, exhaust studs and nuts, exhaust gaskets, etc. The car is only loud at near full boost, it actually sounds eh, not so hot? i dunno if i like it. I'm trying to find a new VC gasket for the hyundai VC I want to put on... ABS might have to be removed to use the FMIC, I will check soon. If anyone is interested, make an offer!!

He is asking $6k, don't waste peoples time. $1600 gets you a rusty beater, not a built DSM.

Ok, but this isn't a rusty car, and has alot of time and money in it. Your offer was a blatant slap in the face of the seller.

I think you should really think before you post bullshit like that!! This car has had a lot of time and effort put into it and it has all quality parts into it. Can you say sheppard!!!!

Re: 1992 Tsi AWD 6/4 bolt, Shep tranny, Ksports, new motor!

Holy crap. Thanks for the support and funny bashing of some dumbass who can't create a logical sentance.

The car is for sale for the right price. It is negotiable. I keep putting money into it because I want to make it nice, even if it is for sale. It's still my car until I hand off the title. The engine bay isn't pretty enough yet.... and my girlfriend is buying me rims...
