Joined the board when I found about it from one of the 4G forums.

Hey all!

I have a 2008 4G (northstar white) bought on impulse just to dump an 05 Chevy Malibu that I hated driving (bad steering and control). I was going to get an Evo but my brother in CA has one so really couldn't go that route (hehehe). I probably paid more than I should but loving the car enough to balance it out. I always wanted a Mitsu - mostly a 3000 when they came out. Now I have one and just looking to see what's out there for help, tips, tricks, shops, etc.

Welcome. There are a couple of guys on here with 4G's that are a bit modded, I am sure they will chime in.

Hey man! Check the project section for Tim's 4G, we helped him put an exhaust on it and he put down some good power at our dyno day last fall. I'd love to say 'should-a bought an evo!' but the 4G is pretty pimp. Post up pics if you get time! Welcome to the boards.

Yeah, I get the feeling once in a while - should've bought an evo. I am liking the 4G more and more though. :-) I drove my brother's evo 8 in Cali and that was fun to drive too. Maybe have both one of these days (we can always dream).

But next on the "dream" list would be the Nissan GTR. Always good to have some lofty goals.

I will check on Tim's 4G. I'm currently looking at getting coilovers, tint, exhaust, and intake. I probably won't be doing more than that for a while. I need to get a bike hauler this summer (my 2 boys and I ride trails around the area).

that is about what tim has. I put on his shorty headers and exaust last fall it helped out the car alot. next I will be buiding him a new y-pipe for the headers to get rid of the last cat

Sounds like your "want" list is about what Tim has right now! He beat my g/f's WRX in a little testing and comparing on the highway so its making some pretty decent power for a heavy pig!

Tried to look for Tim's 4G (under project talk) and no exact match. What ID is he under? LOL!

Just waiting for my tax refund and then figure out what mods to do first.
