How many people have a ticket for no front license plate?
 

I almost just got a ticket for no front plate, he pulled me over, he was sitting right accross from me at a turn. And I had a few beers in me, no ticket and he let me go, god I am lucky!!! 1st thing I did when I got home was to put the plate on:)and then have a thank god beer.

I got another one of these while I was parked at Grand Old Days in St Paul a month ago, got out of it a few days ago by stopping at the courthouse.

I've always been afraid of gettin one so I had a nice little zip tie ghetto rig goin on. Here's my newest solution. A nice metal bracket. I'd love to help anybody out that may want help making one. Under $10 in materials.

I think I've gotten 2 of them. Never been pulled over for it but they'll usually let the speeding go and just stick me with the no front plate ticket.

I had a ticket issued on my car like a parking ticket. No way of talking my way out of that one. It was because some one down the street parked wrong and I guess the ticket patrol felt he or she had to go through all the cars.

Put a license plate on, took pictures of it, went to courthouse and they never charged me.

1990 DSM never had the front license plate on them. Sucks
Plus I didn't like drilling into my bumper...

when i was in mn i got a couple tickets for that. but once i put it on the inside of my windshield i didnt get harassed anymore. I always had the excuse ready for the police, "Its on the front of my car and can be seen from in front of my vehicle. In the law it does not state that it must be on the front bumper just seen from the front of the vehicle."

I like mine its off to the side and hides my intercooler pipe that dosnt look so cool. so ive always liked having a front plate makes my car look a lot better.

Pretty sure the book says nothing can be in front of the plate or covering it. And technically a windshield is in front of it. Just a little fyi, that's what I heard.

over the past year ive gotten:

4 no front plate tickets
7 loud exhaust tickets
5 tint tickets
1 for my "311" sticker on the back, ghey.

all in all, im changing some shit.

I've owned my Evo for a year and a half and have never had the plate on the front. I've gotten pulled over once for it and got a verbal warning. I also have tint on a black car, never once been bothered for that or for my loud exhaust. Driving like a grandma pays off.

i got pulled over for tint in my corolla on the 4th, doing 60 in a 55 following someone that was doing 70 in a 55.

Cop pulls a u-turn says " from my experience you have about 15%" puts the thing on 30%. Cops are dick heads, needless to say i am making all of my vehicles straight by the law, there has to be some reason i keep getting fucked with and its not my driving.

I had only a few beers while golfing, nothing wrong with that, there was a slight possibility that I would have blown .8 which is like 1 1/12 beers, gay!! I got lucky, I don't know what the deal is but I go a month without seeing 1 cop, then in the past 3 days I've seen like 10 cops, hopefully everything dies down after this weekend.

311evo, someone must really hate you, how does anyone get a ticket for a 311 sticker, WTF? 4 no plate tickets and after the first one you still didn't put it on, you sir, are a bad ass! A poorer bad ass I might add.

Turbotalon1g, I bet the tint is what is causing it, it gives a cop a reason to pull you over. That is bullshit that they come after you instead when the person infront is 10mph faster, I hope you didn't get a ticket!

Haha i drive very grandma-ish when i see them, or when im in town in general, but as soon as either state patrol weber, or pregler see's me, its a 3-in-1 ticket guaranteed. the reason i havent fixed anything is because when they give me the tickets, they'll tell me the shpeal about how ive been getting these for over a year and havent done anything about it, then they procede to ask me when i will fix the violations. i reply "i'll fix the violations as soon as you fix your profiling, or at least until i see you pull over a vet' for no front plate, or a muscle car for loud exhaust."

The cops around here never pull me over for anything, its always state patrol. I even got pulled over by a cop for speeding, and i asked about it and he said it varies from cop to cop, but around here im usually good with cops. State patrol is another story. the fuckers have pulled me over for.

3 no sidemarkers or reflectors or whatever its called on my tailights (on my neon with alltezas)

4 No front license plate.

5 illegal taillights

7 a F.S sign supposedly impeding my view

Not all seperate occasions, and no tickets, but ive been warned for all at one point LOL

I got pulled over in porky's for this in my quest, and lined up on either side of me were 15 f-bodies with no front plates. I was pissed. And I payed I think.

I've gotten 3 no front plate tickets in St Paul since I moved to the cities in 2005, all parked legally on the street. Driving had nothing to do with it, and I'm glad they have to roll down the windows to check tint level.

I need to disable my power window switch with a secret switch so I can't roll up the windows for them to check tint, haha.

Some people get special treatment and their is nothing you can do about it, maybe we can pass and ordinance requiring no front plate or something. We could fight back saying other states don't require it. The plate make my car look worst but so does the wrong color or spray paint on my lower front bumper so I don't mindto much. I just don't wan't to give a cop a reason to pull me over!

Slowboy, the stock window controls are bad as it is, I can't roll up my passanger side from the drivers side so I think bad wiring could be an excuse. Or you could say you don't have windows at all and disable the switch:)How are they gonna prove otherwise?

Got pulled over and got a verbal warning. Been running no front plate on my civic for about 2 years off and on with plenty of trips to porky's and driven by hundreds of cops.

This one was facing me at a stop light, and I noticed that she turned her turn signal on after staring me down, so as soon as the lights went on I was practically already parked.

Ive been driving with my plate in my window for the past couple months and had no problems. And ive been driving it in two different states...so I dont know, ill change it when I get a warning and/or ticket. I just dont want to cover up my front mount at all.

pulled over like 3 times. once for passing someone on the shoulder cause they were taking a left and the people infront of me did it. gay. second cop thought i was speeding said i was going 65 in a 55 but i was going like 58ish. 3rd expired tabs on a new car. really gay only got ticketed for the tabs. i also had a dream catcher on the mirror but he let it slide. only 1 ticket and im 18. not bad and it wasnt a speeding one lol. Oh yeah my car now no front lisence plate but have it on my dash. not pulled over for that yet.

Same thing, you knew you were gonna get pulled over. Thankfully I had recent insurance and I lived 1 block away, it could have been ugly!!!!!!!!!
Anyways, I have corected the issure because I am smart and hope I am never botherd again!
