2010 EvoX MR Touring Edition now on Mitsu's site
http://jbrlsr.com/?aid=5336118840&bi...%3Floc%3Den-us
I love it. I want it. Heated seats and mirrors. Power sunroof. Rear lip spoiler. Full leather. Why oh why isn't there a 5- or 6-speed option. I just dunno if I can give up manual shifting 100% of the time. SST is fun, but expensive to fix and I just know I would miss full manual shifting eventually. Still, so sexy. |

Wow, starting at almost $42k? seems a little rich... Looks pretty cool though
|
Re: 2010 EvoX MR Touring Edition now on Mitsu's site
looks nice but for 42k there would be other cars I would be looking at

Re: 2010 EvoX MR Touring Edition now on Mitsu's site
^^^ +1

Re: 2010 EvoX MR Touring Edition now on Mitsu's site
according to kracka the sst kind of sucks anyways, its a little better than an autostick but not a whole lot
|
Re: 2010 EvoX MR Touring Edition now on Mitsu's site
i just looked at the comparison of all 3 trim levels, the mr touring dosent come with anything special over the gsr other than some interior stuff. and anything good you can get in a package.
i would take the gsr at 34, rather than the mr touring at 41 any day |
Re: 2010 EvoX MR Touring Edition now on Mitsu's site
it looks nice but i think the regular mr looks better.
|
Re: 2010 EvoX MR Touring Edition now on Mitsu's site
It looks really good.

Re: 2010 EvoX MR Touring Edition now on Mitsu's site
I guess it depends on what you plan to do with it. If someone wanted a sweet daily driver that they'd keep stock (with a full warranty) then it would be totally rational in my opinion. Lease the fuc*er!
I've started to think that compromising between performance & daily driver really sucks. I'd like to have a GSR that could be a bit uncompromising for track weekends and an MR as a daily driver that I would never touch as far as aftermarket parts goes. |
Re: 2010 EvoX MR Touring Edition now on Mitsu's site
just get it for Anna.

Re: 2010 EvoX MR Touring Edition now on Mitsu's site
Wow, I optioned it up and it came to $49k. That's just ludicrous, good luck selling them at that price. For reference, the STi is right up there as well, I just looked at one at BP Subie with a sticker of $39k.
For an extra $5k over the Mitsu, you could have this. http://www.bmwusa.com/Standard/Conte...n/Default.aspx |

Re: 2010 EvoX MR Touring Edition now on Mitsu's site
Your mistake is you left it in auto mode :) I always hate driving in auto mode, on this style transmission or a regular auto; you feel like you have no control over what the car is going to do based on throttle input and it sometimes shifts, sometimes doesn't...just sucks, I HATE automatics. It didn't do that for the short time I left it in that on my test drives, but then again I focused on the manual shifting stuff...maybe I should go drive another one and see how I like it. Have to get Anna's opinion on it too I guess, since she uses auto mode 100% of the time.
Anyone know if the sunroof and heated seats are an option on the 2010 GSR? |

The MR touring is the one I'd get. It looks so good with the lip spoiler, and the other features are a nice touch. I'm sure you could get the the MR touring for under $40k. Who the heck pays MSRP these days? later, Curt |

Also, I did not just leave it in auto mode. I tried all to modes to get a good feel for everything the transmission has to offer. Auto-normal, auto-sport (this was the worst), and "manual" (if you really want to call it that). |
Re: 2010 EvoX MR Touring Edition now on Mitsu's site
Im with scheides on this one, I love the MR touring options (lip spoiler, sunroof, heated seats)... but not sure how I feel about the SST and the price tag. I would like to test drive an SST and just see how it feels.
South Coast Mitsu is selling the MR touring for like 38... I think. |
