Working out
Anyone here work out?
If so, do you use supplements? which ones? |
Re: Working out
Right now I'm using Hydroxycut Hardcore (thermogenic) to cut some weight and bump my metabolism. But I also drink a pre-workout drink, a drink for during your workout and a post-workout formula.
Pre-workout http://www.gnc.com/product/index.jsp...593186.3984282 During Workout http://www.gnc.com/product/index.jsp...593186.3996565 Post-Workout http://www.gnc.com/product/index.jsp...593186.3984491 Just by taking the Hydroxycut Hardcore I dropped 5lbs in one week with only working out 3 times that week. I've bumped up the amount I workout from 3 days to 5 days and will be weighing myself at the end of the week. |
Re: Working out
Hydroxcut is baaad, didnt they recall that shit?
Right now all I take are protien shakes after lifting sessions. |
Re: Working out
Hydroxycut will push most of the water out of your body. I have used it. I am using Isatori MX-LS7 right now and actually really like it. Isatori is a great brand. MuscleTech is an awesome brand for sure but pretty spendy from GNC. Try the Vitamin Shoppe. They have way better deals.
Do you use any Creatine supplement? |
Re: Working out
i took creatine for a month didnt even see a result so i quit but i take protien
|
Re: Working out
Not the hardcore series. I have used the HardCore X. Works very well.
Looking for someone who has used Creatine Monohydrate and has used CEE (Creatine Ethyl Ester) and what their take on it is. I bought come CEE and after reading reviews, starting to think about returning it... |

I have had great results from the Hydroxycut Hardcore X. If you're really sensitive to caffeine you'll probably hate it, but after the first two days you really don't feel it. |

Yeah, people who are sensitive to caffeine shouldn't take that for sure. I take 4 MX-LS7. Caffeine does not bother me at all. |
Re: Working out
I started working out about a month and a half ago. People would label me a "ecotomorph" or a "hardgainer," which basically means I have a high metabilism and I'm naturally lean/skinny.
I'm not expert on supplements or anything and I don't claim to be but I've done some research. What I use is Gold Standards 100% Whey Isolate Protein and GNC's Amplified Creatine 189. That's it, other than that I eat healthy and have at least 6 small meals a day since I started working out. What I do is take a scoop of protien (the amount of protein you take may vary based on your weight) and a pill of creatine 30 mins before I workout and again right after I workout. I think what's more important than supplements is just having a good diet (put good things in yor body to get good results) and putting the hard work in. Sometimes keeping your motivation up can be a challenge. |

Re: Working out
AST- Micronized Creatine Monohydrate - 10g a day - most of the time before workout, and before bed
ON Gold Standard 100% WHEY I've had awsome results! I was ripped in highschool but even more now! Quote:

What brand name of Creatine do you take? Ever look at a BSN Cellmass or an Isatori 3XL? |
Re: Working out
Muscle Milk does taste better than most powder drinks but they have saturated fats to help with the flavor. But it still gets the job done.

I read the "Endomorphic" body type, and that describes me perfectly. I put muscle on easy, but it is hard for me to lose weight. Motivation is hard but I have a buddy drives me. We are competitors and it is all about competition with us. That is what drives me to work harder. Most of you guys are in competition with each other on making your cars faster. |
Re: Working out
It definetly helps to have someone to work out with. I work out harder when I life with someone.
I also agree on eating a ton of good things, versus just eating alot to gain and taking supplements. It takes a lot more good food to gain good weight though, and it gets expensive, thats why I toned down on gaining mass and fell back to my old weight. |
Re: Working out
I just started working out again, I use BSN products from Vitamin World. I use N.O. Xplode for pre workout then Syntha-6 protein after work out then around dinner time.

Re: Working out
I'm on this new beer diet. Not sure if I am loosing weight, but I like it so far.
oh HGH is good shit too, took some in Iraq and my bench went up like 25lbs in 2 weeks. |
Re: Working out
I've been working out since this January. I've lost about 20 pounds since then but gained 10 pounds...I believe from muscle.
I've been taking Dymatize Elite Whey Protein before and after workouts. I just need to start losing weight. Do you guys know any 'weight losing' supplements or workouts? I've been told to just keep running but I get bored quickly just running a mile or 2. |
Re: Working out
Hyrodxycut Hardcore will help with some weight loss, I am also stacking it with MuscleTech Hydrazide to get rid of some of the water weight.

Re: Working out
I do muay thai training 4 times a week and lift 3 times a week. Pre-workout I take Jack3d and Superpump 250, and post workout I have a protein shake. Also take Animal pack vitamins. Be careful about taking Superpump past like 2 PM though, or you will be up all night.

Sometimes you hit a "wall" when working out. Your body tells you to slow down or stop, but you have to learn how to push through that wall and keep going even if it's just a rep or two more. Basically don't limit yourself to a certain amount of reps or any other number. Learn to be comfortable when you're uncomfortable. (If that makes any sense) You can probably do the P90x program, I'm not saying you can keep up with the people in the video, but as long as you push youself to your own limits you'll see results (as with any workout). Oh yeah the other program is called the Insanity Program. I don't think they use any weights. |
Re: Working out
I've been working out for a long time and I'll I take is the Muscle Milk protein shakes afterwards, love that stuff. I did another month of creatine last fall and it's like steroids, I went up in every weight every time I went to the club. But my joints didn't like it too much and you end up losing almost everything you gained. I actually lost all the gains, but I've only been working out 1-2 days/week lately.
At my age, I'm just happy to maintain at this point, I don't need to bulk up anymore. But the nice thing is that muscle has memory, so even if I slack for a month or two, I'm back in shape in two weeks and I'm still leaner than most of the 20-somethings at my Lifetime. |
Re: Working out
me personally I like the muscletech and MRI products and have seen the best results and gains with those

The main aerobic ones are KenpoX, YogaX (might think is gay but it really beats you), Core Synergistics, CardioX, and Plyometrics. I can guarentee if you stick with these for 90 days you will be in pretty good shape! |
