Undercover cop...

On the way to work i saw someone pulled over by a Red Charger no markings what-so-ever. It was all red, white stripe un the bottom of the door that says "Charger" in red.
Just a heads up for you guys.

Sneaky. What city was this? Was the officer wearing city garb or was it a trooper?

I see unmarked Chargers and Impalas with people pulled over all the time. Nothing new around here. Saw one on 94 just last night in fact.

It was on 94 heading into minneapolis. Ive seen unmarked black chargers (but they usually have some sort of badge). But this one was bright red with no badging what so ever. The guy was dressed in police uniform (he was getting back into the car as i passed).

I saw a grey one a mile north of St. Paul pulling somebody over. Seeing unmarked Chargers is nothing new, but what caught me off guard was the "charger" badging on the rear rocker panel... never would have expected to see an unmarked with any sort of attention grabbing emblems.

Tom, it's an unmarked, not an undercover. :D

Re: Undercover cop...

I got pulled over the day of my moms best friends funeral and i was going quite fast just trying to make a shitty day feel a little better. It was a black impala with tinted windows and chrome rims no markings at all not even any antennas and there were two cops in it both wearing tee shirts and jeans no guns on them nothing never seen a cop car that undercover before. The cop was really cool about it though even as fast as i was going he came up to the window asked for my insurance and stuff and asked why I was going so fast, i said well there was this guy next to me in the diesel truck that was acting all cocky and I was having a shitty day because of the funeral he said ok hold on. He came back from his car said I don't know why im doing this but im letting you off with a verbal warning, then he was like how fast does this thing go be honest so he must have liked the evo haha.

Around EP there is a white 2004ish Ford Explorer unmarked, and Coon Rapids has an unmarked grey Dodge intrepid

On highway 52 from and to St. Paul, there's always a silver with black stripes Charger catching somebody. Seen it about 2-3 times already about the last 2 weeks. crazy.

As with Matt. D, old news.

Blaine has a bunch of these, the sneakest one i saw was an older impala with normal plates no cage and lights, dude was in civies too which was messed up.

I think this should be against the constitution or something like that.

Yeah they are getting sneakier and sneakier about their cars, down here there is a Impala that is dark blue that looks like your normal grocery getter, and there is a white Charger that has no markings either. For some reason I can always sniff them out though, but I rarely speed anyway.

AGREE. Have any of you gotten pulled over by an Unmarked and kept going while calling to verify that it is legit? (you are allowed by law to do this)

No. st paul had a lot of different ones. I remember seeing a old jeep cherokee, and F 150's.

I remember seeing the new Kia Sportage as a undercover cop car. It had nothing that looked like a cop car.

They use dui and drug repo cars and outfit them for undercover use. Drive by any local police station and you'll see a bunch in their parking lots.

That's a very unliberal thing of you to say!

I vote that only people at Kracka's income and above shall have to pay speeding tickets. Everyone else can speed for free.

Brooklyn Center has a bunch of weird ones, too. A couple mini-vans and a black Cherokee are what I've seen, at least.

you guys should see the black yukon denali.. dark tint all around that always sits around the maplewood blowling lane area. If you look closely in the back windows you can see the christmas lights in it red and blue.. So to all you guys that goes out there be on the look out..

Re: Undercover cop...

I also forgot that I spotted a dark blue conversion van that was pimped out with 20"+ chrome wheels and a black charger with 2 racing strips and 20"+ chrome wheels at Maplewood Chipotle. I saw a group of cops eating there and when they left, they walked to that conversion van and charger. As they left, they flashed their lights and gunned out of the parking lot.

When I was in high school I was heading up 169 from Mankato to a bowling tournament, somewhere around Shakopee my friend got pulled over by a maroon Chevy Astro. That shit was orchestrated.

Pussies. All of you. You could have run away but you didn't. You let the man pull you over and get your money. Next time use that big turbo you have! Run away, they'll never catch you.

I've never seen so many under cover cops until I moved to Denver, CO

The one you're running from may not, but there's always that pesky radio to catch up to you.

Re: Undercover cop...

Radio's only work when theres another cop in the direction your going... if your out in the sticks they don't help as much. If you were to ditch a cop, it would have to be in the first minute or less of being pursued. Before anyone else has a chance of closing in on you... Not that I have done this or anything...

Matt D. 08-09-2010 07:22 AM

Re: Undercover cop...

Alright, enough idiocy in this thread.

I never want to see any more discussion on this forum concerning tactics for ditching cops. If you don't want to be pulled over or chased then don't fuck around in your car.
