Monday car show in Fridley
 

I hit up a show last night in Fridley. It's sponsered by NOS energy drink (yes all the free NOS you can drink) Right off Osbourne and University. A great mix of cars, imports, domestics, oldies, 4X4's. I'm thinking about getting some peeps together and cruisin over there next monday.

Anyone interested?

It runs from 7-9 every monday night

We're meeting at my shop in Coon town about 7 and cruisin down there

I went there a few weeks ago with a buddy of mine who has a G8 GT, it wasn't too bad. Seemed to be a few dbags there for sure, but i've been to worse.

I was planning on attending one with my car when it's done as I talked to a few people that wanted to see it.

I would agree that the whole "ricekiller" scene is lame but the event seemed harmless.

Thers lots of cars and free drinks. I like going to the ricekiller meets. But there is some dbags there. Dam srt4 owners.

Honestly from what I saw, most are all talk. There were very few cars I wouldn't stomp on a street romp.

University Ave on the weekends is more than enough for me. I don't need to hangout with D-bags and rich kids who think they know what they're talking about.

lol, got to love where the car scene is going.

95% of RKC members are full of shit I used to go to their meet when they first started then they all wanted to be the fastest and kept writing checks, hell one guy hasn't had a running car in like 3-4 yrs because he wants to be the fastest.

The meets are full of shitty ass cars, with only a handful out of 20+.
Again there are a few good people there, but the useless outnumber the good by way too far to make it worth going.

I used to go to these meets a year or two ago to pick on cars who thought they were the biggest and most bad ass cars on the road. It was fun beating those people :)

Some of the people are cool but not for me.

i started going a couple years ago when i had my 2g talon and quit going because of all the tools, ive been to a couple this year and it has grown a shitload since a few years ago. now you can actually go and bullshit with some decent people and just forget about the ricekiller dbags.

I went to one a couple months ago. Hung out with Brian basically, and met Kayin who was nice, and Nick who was ok. Never went to one again though.

Tonight was a great night to be out. It was nice to see a few DSM's and Evos. Hopefully some of you will make it out here, sometime

I went tonight...saw the couple evos, red and black one and a few DSM's...and swifty i think, lol. My buddy with his G8 was supposed to meet a few other G8's and wanted me to go...it was kinda meh. I feel like there are way too many kids there and too many people that look at you like they want to race you, lol.

Tonight was a great turn out, The meet was changed to Elite Autosports in Blaine. Tons of cars and a lot of great people. And hey, Shane WAS actually there.
