well, its monday, and i was curious to know who is all going to MAPs little meet on monday nights from 8-10. shoot me a txt if you are going tonight, i work until 7 and im headed straight there so im kinda goin there not knowing. so some help would be appreciated!! I was at the Rice Killer meet yesterday for the first time. There were several G35/G37s on the dyno and I was hanging out with them.

RK has had the last several meets at MAP in Plymouth. Three weeks ago they had cops waiting for people to leave so they could hand out tickets. So these RK meets can attract attention. They seem to get 50-100 cars there when its decent weather.

As an observer, I noticed a pretty young crowd. Maybe a little younger than the EVO/DSM crowd at a Mitsustyle meet. Thank god the Infiniti G37 owners are a much more respectable group, otherwise I would of really felt out of place. LOL. Some of the RK people seem decent, but the vast majority seem to be kind of "hick" or just too immature for my taste. There were several cars spinning tires as they left. The Mitsustyle crowd is much more grown up and respectful.

And one last observation, there was more of what I consider "rice" at the Rice Killer meet than at a Mitsustyle meet. I kind of LOLed at that. :)

I do know a few of the regulars that are on the RK board. And they are decent people. But this club just doesn't care that much about what I consider jackass behavior on there board and at meets. Different strokes for different folks I guess.

I went out there last night for a bit and don't think I'll go back any time soon. There was nothing super cool out there, a lot of border line ricers and a lot of what seemed like mean mugging when I pulled in.

It used to seem cooler when there were mostly faster cars there and trips to canada happened.

Yea... I went a few weeks ago because I was bored, but there's way too much Anoka/Coon Rapids attendance there, the other half of cars was pretty decent.

Ok that is the end of my rant. I have been at 90% of the rkc meets in the last 5 years and I look foward to every one of them. It is a blast, and if you want to come out and have noone to talk to you find the skinny blond kid in the red gsx. I would have no problem shooting the shit and talking about cars.

Well thats the first for the dyno. Every time I plan on going they say the dyno is closed. Plus its a to far of a drive to go see 50 that are the same ever week. Plus must of the people there are young and inmature.

I went to a few meets a few years ago in the evo. got mean mugs from a lot of people. then later on found pics of my car on there site and they were bashing the evo 3 saying it was 100% riced out car with a body kit on it. They have no idea what it really is.

I saw your DSM at the meet. It was one of the better cars there. I would think you'd fit in pretty good at a Mitsustyle meet. I'm sure you've made some friends at the RK meets, and that makes it more enjoyable for you. But you have to admit, there was a lot of young and immature kids there. And some really nasty cars there. I'd love to see your GSX at the All Mitsu Cookout next month.
