Goodbye Ralliart...
Goodbye Rotor Glow Orange
Goodbye SST Goodbye 6th gear Goodbye little spoiler Goodbye Fastkey HELO OCTANE BLUE EVO X GSR!!! Now that I've sold my wife an Outlander Sport and she has a new car to drive, I can stop having to worry about her driving a manual. So, I pulled the trigger, traded in my Ralliart and got an Evo! |

Re: Goodbye Ralliart...
2012 Evo X GSR base? Very nice! Sucks you didn't get the SS package, but I can understand wanting to save the $2k.

Love that color
|
Re: Goodbye Ralliart...
It was the only new, octane blue, for sale in the 5 state area.
|
Re: Goodbye Ralliart...
Wahoo! Looks fantastic man!
I forsee a testpipe, aFe drop-in, DW300 fuel pump, FIC 1100's, pierburg 3-port, and a trip to DB in your future? :) Oh, and springs and a sway bar :D |
Re: Goodbye Ralliart...

Wait, actually, I'm thinking the DW65x shouldn't be used with E85 since it retains the stock pump housing which has been known to not take the high ethanol content too well. Maybe just a Walbro 255HP w/install kit then? Or DW300, but that's extra cost when it's not needed...unless Scheides is trying to sell you his ;) Speaking of which, did I give you that AFE filter back or did I sell it? |
Re: Goodbye Ralliart...
They look damn good in blue.
|
Re: Goodbye Ralliart...
Nice upgrade!
Scheides' list FTW, do it! |
Re: Goodbye Ralliart...
Soooooo, I almost wrecked it just now! I'm not used to putting the parking break on when I leave the car. As I was opening the door to my house, the garage door light started blinking. I realized that the car had started rolling back and tripped the sensor for the garage door. HOLT SHIT that was close.

Good call on the DW65, I'd def try it! I only say the DW300 over the 255 for noise reasons, 255 will rip just fine! FIC1100, ID1000, potato, potah-toh... |
Re: Goodbye Ralliart...
As much as I would love to, I had to empty out my personal saving to get out of my negative equity situation. It's going to be a while.

Re: Goodbye Ralliart...

Re: Goodbye Ralliart...
Interest rates all depend on your credit. There's nothing we can do as a dealer to affect that other than shop your credit score around to multiple banks and see who gives you a better offer.
What I can tell you is that both Richard (our general manager) and I lease ours. That'll get you in around or under 600 a month (again, depending on your credit). Buying one, you gotta figure about $20 a month for every $1000 you borrow. So, if you paid nothing down other than tax, title, and licence you're talking about 35K around 700/month without interest. |
Re: Goodbye Ralliart...
$600 a month just to lease? That sounds just stupid to me. Expecially in the end you have to give it back. No car is worth that. Lol
Are you guys selling more than just cars to afford those payments? |
Re: Goodbye Ralliart...
Leasing is like marriage with the option of divorce. If you hate it after 3 years, give it back. If you still love it, buy it. If you know you're going to buy something at the end of the lease, like I am, then miles don't matter. It's just simply a way of breaking up your loan payments.
|
Re: Goodbye Ralliart...
If you know your gonna buy then how come not just slightly used? I've seen a few go for 26-28k not 2012's but yeah. Payments would be $100-$150 less a month. Not hating on your decision as that all yours. Just simply asking questions? Either way that octane blue looks sexy. But when it's time to write that monthly check I'd puke!
Wouldn't dating be like leasing? Lol. |
Re: Goodbye Ralliart...
25-28k you're looking at 40k miles still. Those things hold their value. That's something that's already out of warranty!

Re: Goodbye Ralliart...
Big baller!
Nice upgrade though! |

Re: Goodbye Ralliart...
Looking good!
255 with e85 install kit works well, i rocked a 255 with ghetto diy kit that worked for 6 months, but I'd say get an actual kit. I like the blue for sure, but I like all the colors. |
Re: Goodbye Ralliart...
I'm still selling my AMS Test-pipe. Would be perfect for this! :)
|
Re: Goodbye Ralliart...
Nice upgrade!
Trust me, you can get an X for less than $600 a month with 0 down :) |
Re: Goodbye Ralliart...
No offense but the asking price from your dealer seems high. $600+ per month is allot. I've bought 34k cars with allot less payments.

Two people could buy identical cars for 33,999 and have very different monthly payments. |
Re: Goodbye Ralliart...
Car looks nice. Not sure if I would have emptied my savings account to lease one, but different strokes. Good luck with her!
|
Re: Goodbye Ralliart...
Well, that took less than a week to replace something...
