Hey everyone,

The planning for the 2012 All Mitsubishi Cookout and Car Show is underway. This year's event will be happening on Sunday, August 26th, 2012. The event runs from 11am to 4pm.

Once again we will have this huge event at the Rogers Middle School in Rogers, MN. We will have a lot of great prizes and some awesome food. This is one of the largest Mitsu events in the country. We are hoping to get over 150 Mitsus on display. You don't want to miss it!

So in the past, there have been cars allowed in the Other category that did not share much with an actual Mitsu except for the engine.

Since my car has a Mitsu engine, I feel I should be able to enter.

Sorry Pete. Only cars built by Mitsubishi are in the show. Its always been that way. But the good thing is you still have 2 months to go out and buy a Mitsu. :)

Yes you can. The All Mitsu Cookout isn't just for show cars. All the old timers know that. Its just as much about getting all the Mitsu owners together. We want to see all Mitsus there, not just show cars.

LOL, there was an Outlander Sport there last year. I walked by the front and thought 'why is an Evo parked back here?' - then I walked around & saw the back!

Okay guys, lets make the Starquest section even BIGGER and BETTER!! I'm gonna mention this event on the Starquestclub and see if I can't attract a few out of state owners to drop in!! ^_^

I hope we can get some more Starquests there this year. If we both keep bugging them, maybe that will help.

Thanks Curt for getting the word out and organizing. Every year, since 2009, haven't miss one yet as this event is what introduced me to the Mitsu community and forums. This is where I met Murlo and Mlomker, we were the lowly evo x's at the party.

I love having all the Mitsu nuts in the area get together once a year to celebrate all things Mitsu. I'm hoping we can get even more people out this year. There are a lot more EVO X owners out there now. Plus there are still tons of classic Mitsu owners out there. I'd like to beat our record of 166 Mitsus we had in 2007. That was the first year the EVO guys really came out in force.

Hey everyone,

Things are coming along great for the All Mitsu Cookout. We have 63 people officially signed up. We have 120 people on the Facebook event.

Since we have both MAP and White Bear Mitsubishi as main sponsors, we will be able to keep the price of the Cookout at $5. So for $5, you can get yourself, and car, into the show and all you can eat. Each additional guest who wants to eat will be $5. We'll have plenty of burgers, brauts, chips, cookies, veggies, pop, and water for ya.

I've been to several car events in the last month. I've handed out a lot of flyers and talked to people about the All Mitsu Cookout. And even though I have the Cookout info on 40+ message boards, I still find Mitsu owners who have never heard of the All Mitsu Cookout. So keep telling all your friends, who own Mitsus, about the Cookout. It can really make a difference. If you want to print off some flyers to hand out, the link is at:
