Photoshoot for my portfolio
 

I take a photography class and for our final we are being given the task of creating our portfolio. I know its late in the year but I chose to take pictures of cars, mostly DSMs. Like I said, I know it's late in the season but I was hoping some of you [well a lot of you is what I hope] would be willing to get together and have a photo shoot. I would need to get it done quite soon, as the project is due December 16th, and shitty weather is creeping in on us. I need as many people as I can get, so if any of you are willing I would greatly appreciate any one coming! The pictures are going to black and white dark room developed and I can get pictures out to anyone who helps me out. Let me know if you are interested and we can all work something out. The more the merrier so bring friends if you want! Oh, and if you have a shitty looking DSM bring it! All I ask is that it runs! Thanks guys!

I'm getting my Talon back tonight after I go replace a brake pad. Gonna wash it, have fun with it until Saturday night then it's going back into storage for more repairs. Might be able to help. Not the nicest car though. ;)

Alright, well Like I said I need to get the pictures taken ASAP. I'm hoping for a shoot this weekend, if anyone can make it. If not when is good for everyone. I would like to head down and take pictures on University, if that works for everyone.

Allan: Yes. Mud is good! My Talon is quite muddy right now. But I would want you some place else. Uni and mud don't fit. Any one else up for mud??

Do you know where Mobile/Marathon is? On the way out to 280 by the McDonalds? It's right off Vandalia and University. Back behind the gas station there is a wearhouse type building with parking spaces that face [if you back in] the gas station. I want to meet back there, since that's usually where most of us meet in the summer. I may also ask for a trip down to Porky's or Wendy's so we can clump all of the vehicles together.

I don't care if the vehicles look clean or not [or in good condition or not], as long as it is a DSM [Laser's, Talon's, Eclipse's, Conquest's, Gallant's, 3000GT's, Stealths... All are VERY welcome!!] I want it there. I want to start early, as I need to be back by five every single day this weekend for work. But I don't have school Friday, so Friday Saturday or Sunday will work for me. What is good for everyone?

Oh! And if anyone has a DSM in pieces not running... I want to take pics of that to! Must show the true being of a DSM.. Broken!

Turbo2086: Any chance you would be willing to come out? I know its a drive...

I'm really excited for this! Hopefully everything will go well and the weather will hold up for us!

Umm, it is VERY similar to a DSM. At least to yours. The head design is damn near identical!

By the way.... The 420A head is the same. And that means a SRT-4 turbo with minor port work would bolt on the your car. :D Just don't call me for a tow when you run over 10 psi. LOL!

Alright guys, I appreciate everyone wanting to come out! I'm thinking Saturday would be best, I'm assuming most of you work Friday during the day. Like I said I need to be back in Eagan by about 4:30-4:45 to work, so if ya'll could be out on Uni at about 1 pm that should give me enough time to do my business and get the hell out. Let me know if that doesn't work out for ya'll, I would rather re-adjust times and have more people come!!

Allan: Where do you live? I'm wondering how far you are from Rosemount and if you would be willing to come do a little off roading with me. I want a bunch of mud flyin!! And if any DSM's are willing to get their's a little dirty that would be fun! Or just any car!!! Mud is always good, haha.

I live up in Otsego(Past Maple Grove on 94 between Rogers and Elk RIver on HWY 101.. If you know of a location down that way I know I'd make the drive to get a little dirty, but I also have a nice pit right acroos the street which involves mud, water, and hills to play on. It would be nicer to be closer to home in case of anything goign wrong.

Yah I hear ya. I know of a place down here but it's a little bit illegal, however I know my car can make it through there. You busy this weekend? Hmm... Preferably Friday so I can just wash the beast before the shoot and not have to pay all that extra money to get another one later???

hey, i know it's saturday already but i couldn't get online because my computer broke,but are you still gonna do it today? my GS-T is out, i have to drive it anyways and take it to the carwash, because my dad's truck had a bad head gasket and he took my RS to work, so i had no choice i had to drive my GS-T in the snow,

Nope. Not going out. Had some issues and now my car is at Alec's, and I got it taken away. Sorry to anyone who may have showed up.

I Don't get my car back for another two weeks, so I'm sure I'm a little fucked as far as my project goes. Anyways, after that I'd be down to take pictures of the ones put away, but by that time I'm sure thats all I'll get.

And yes, my car can handle the U-Lands.
