There was a big, big arguement on China GT's on AF a couple weeks ago, both sides made good points. If I remember I'll find that link for you. Basically, the China GT is a Evo III 16g knock off. Look around, I think you'll find what you're looking for.

Re: "China turbo"

I was not in the market last year for a turbo, so I did not care, but now I do. I would just buy the real Mitsubishi turbo anyway but I had fun reading the arguments.

Re: "China turbo"

If you compare prices the china turbo is a little cheaper however you might not be getting the same quality. It would be best to start out with a real Mitsubishi turbo then to take chances on the china turbo.

Truth be told I haven’t found anyone saying anything bad about them yet but it hasn’t been around enough to find out durability issues and no one has put out real numbers for the turbo.

Do a search though and you will find the answer.

I picked one up from turbochargers.com...They supposedly have a 12 month warranty so I figured why not be a guinea pig and see what it can do. It was pretty cheap too, I'll keep you all posted on what happens...just need to get the car running first.

^ yes, you do. I have yet to see you this year. When do you plan on going out? I hope to get my car finally put back together once I get more parts.
