3pin TPS vs 4pin tps ?

So my old tps sensor i took off my 1G n/t TB, had 3 pins, my new one has 4pins.

My question is:

Is the 4th pin for idle switch? and if so do I need to uncheck "uncheck idle switch" on ecmlink?

Yes, 4th pin is idle switch on the 2g tps. Not positive on the 'link setting, but it sounds right.
Does your harness connection have all four wires to it? Or does it have 3 with a separate one on the throttle for idle switch?

Hmm, the idle switch is separate on the 1G's, although you can simulate it in Link using the TPS, which is what I do.

I have 4 wires on the harness. And currently the idle switch is simulated. So I should now uncheck that box im thinking now that I know what that 4th pin is for.

I always simulated the idle switch. Link has a pretty solid means of simulating it, and you never have to worry about the switch failing, so me personally I'd still simulate it.

Sounds good. Will leave it then.

Thanks for the info as always.
