Exhaust
I need a new exhaust system for my N/T Eclipse and want to go 2 1/2 in piping. Who can give me the cheapest price for solid no cat no nothing setup?

Re: Exhaust
2.5" piping is too big for your NA setup. Proper exhaust sizing is more important for NA setups, there's no such thing as too big for turbo setups. Judging by the fact that 350 Chevy motors like 1.75" headers and exhaust per bank, that's a probably a good number to shoot for on your NA setup.

Re: Exhaust
k good to know. so now the question is, I have everything except a bad flex pipe and I have no muffler on my car, and If I could get a shop to replace those for cheap then i'll do that but if I can get a shop to do something different with a nice sounding but not loud setup I'd rather go with that.

Re: Exhaust
Yeah, backpressure is your friend with an NA setup, so a muffler is a good idea.

Re: Exhaust
Anyone Got A Nice Sounding Muffler Other Than Stock They Would Be Willing To Let Go? I Don't Want To Have To Back To Stock.

Re: Exhaust
I've been doing some quick searching and haven't found the stock piping size and am not near the car to check the diameter. Anyone got a figure off hand? Trying to find out so I can get a stock flex pipe ordered and muffler.
