Steve will have his car on the road long before me! He might as well take em if he can make use of them. I'm in no hurry, I need to get mine running before I worry about braking.

Mine will be running again tomorrow. My weekend rear end build ended up taking two months. I've learned my lesson, I don't work as fast as I used to.

I'm guessing steve won't want to grind his knuckles to make them work anyway :D

Sweet! Insulating and sheetrocking the garage right now so I can work out there again. Even figured out an easy way to raise the ceiling high enough to install a lift and have full walking clearance underneath.

Re: Anyone interested in Cobra adapter brackets

Steve and Mike, you guys want to be my beta testers? Machinist has my models and is reviewing and suggesting changes to make them easier to make - since i'm a design engineer and of course, way out of touch with reality ;)

I was planning on including adapters, hub rings, and hardware (since the bolts for the calipers are actually kinda rare/expensive at hardware stores) I could potentially also include brake lines - I used a 2G stainless brake line kit, but I suppose if I had a bunch custom made they'd be cheaper than buying a whole brake kit just to discard a couple of them.

No janky spacers required! :D

Pretty much this exactly, replacing four standard A-frame trusses with the high clearance ones, then use a jackshaft garage door opener.http://images42.fotki.com/v1416/phot...MVC002F-vi.jpg

Let me see how fast I can get the garage done so I can work out there.

Sounds good, almost done with the garage, so I'll order up some Cobra calipers in the next few weeks.
