INXS - May 25 - Orpheum Theatre
 

Anybody else going? We aren't huge INXS fans, but like them enough that we figured it'd be a decent time.

We got pretty decent seats I think. I've never been to the Orpheum Theatre, so I can't quite tell. We are on the main floor though.

Post up if you are going, maybe we could meet before hand for dinner/drinks.

Son of a bitch.. I ALWAYS learn about this stuff after the fact. I'm interested in seeing how the new lead singer is doing. How was the show?

OMG! :eek: I think I'll slap you. You've never even heard of INXS? How old are you.. like 15?

They are a huge 80's band, and they did that show last year on tv looking for a new lead singer ... something Rock Star? I don't remember the name of the show.

Anyway, download some of there music, once you hear it you'll know who they are I'm sure. :D

I'm more of a Mudvayne/Static-X fan. But I'll look it up on Rhapsody tonight and check out some of there stuff.

They have the big "Vegas" song thats playing on the radios. Theme song for "Las Vegas" the primetime show.

Well as a quick recap if was a pretty good show. The Orpheum Theatre is pretty sweet to see a concert in. The sound just hits ya no matter where you are. Scott Stapp opened the show for INXS and he was actually very good live. He played some new stuff and some old stuff from Creed. INSX definatly puts on a good show but their new singer performs some pretty fucked up shit. He molested almost every other member in the band in very sexual ways. From gropping band mebers to giving the saxaphone a blow job, to going down on the mic stand. He sounds great with their old and new stuff though and he came out into the crowd and was within 2 feet of us so that was cool i guess.

Jana had a hard time seeing when everyone stood up since all the big head and big hair moms came out to the show. If anyone wanted to take a mid life crisis 40+ woman home for the night and treat them like a 80's band groupie this is the show to come to and make it happen.
