oil pressure gauge reading about 100psi
So I have a pro sport oil pressure gauge. Yesterday it was reading around 60 psi where I always figured it should be, but today its reading up close to 100psi. Any ideas???

If it's electric check the connection on the sender.

From prosport, it's usually a bad sending unit (if electric). It should have a sticker showing a range of resistance, ohm the sender with a dvom. I have bought 2 gauges from prosport both senders tested bad brand new, I'm still waitng for a resolution from prosport 6-7 months later. Buy a nicer gauge like autometer. And to be sure check, with a different mechanical gauge.

I have had an autometer one and it barely worked at all. That was though, before I had my leaky oil pump fixed. So maybe I'll throw that one in and see if it makes a difference
