Re: Customer Reviews

I'd like to be the first to submit my review of MAPerformance...

I will update this when my car is finished... but so far...Chris and Kyle have been great. Chris, being the owner and being the main contact person has been giving me prices, updates and diagnosis results and really couldn't be any better. He's very knowlegable, and very upfront and honest about everything. Although my car is not done yet, Chris has been very helpful in trying to decide what to do with my car, and helping me to determine the best solution for my problem.
He was honest about his pricing, very straightforward about the issues with the car and has been very willing to work with me to get the parts I need and not try to sell me anything I don't.

SO FAR, I give them two thumbs up!

Will give the final update when the car is done, and give a better overview of what was done and how Kyle did with the wrenchin'!!

Thanks guys!

Two Giant Thumbs Up!

When i bought my car it wasn't running at all. I purchased many parts from them and they put her back together. Kyle really knows what he is doing, Chris is very upfront about everything and great about calling when more miscellaneous parts need to be ordered. Again another two thumbs up!

Re: Customer Reviews

in response to my own post. i got the car back last week and everything is great.

Basically, I got a new turbo BIG 16g to replace a shot factory turbo... and by shot i mean SHOT!! Kyle also made me an upper innercooler pipe with 1g BOV flange and he also had to fabricate the J-pipe to go with the new turbo.

a few other minor things were done, but overall, they did a great job.

2 thumbs up to the guys at MAPerformance!!

Thanks to the guys for the great exhaust. It was the ghetto exhaust off of cher's white car, and I finally got around to fixing it. Kyle did a great job on welding a new o2 dump, downpipe, straightpipe, and exiting the muffler out the damn hole correctly! Thanks again guys.

Re: Customer Reviews

Although I dislike posting on this site, I just had to post on this topic. Chris and Kyle have been great. Kyle did a balance shaft elim and the front case setup on my block. Kyle did a great job - very meticulous and definitely not rushed. In addition, Chris didn't screw me in the pricing either - he quoted me a fair price.
MA Performance definitely recommended.

Re: Customer Reviews

I purchased a PTE SCM 61, Mahle Pistons, Eagle Rods, and tons of other parts for my build. Lower prices and way faster shipping then all the other websites I usually go through. They will be my first stop for parts from now on.

Thanks, Mason

Re: Customer Reviews

Just dropped off my Talon TSI AWD to get a HG / Timing belt job done. I have a few other things that need to be looked into but we haven't figured anything out beyond that. They got my car towed up there the first day I said I was available to get'r done! Hopefully everything goes smooth. this will be the first official time I've DROPPED off my car and had a shop do all the work on it. That last experience I had was with QPR.. ::COUGH::GAG::

I will update as progress moves forward.

Re: Customer Reviews

I had some work done to my Laser b/c I'm getting old and lazy and was impressed with the customer service. I was kept up to date on the progress and they went out of their way in order to get my car done in time. They definitely know their way around DSM's. Fair and honest business with the best labor cost in town :)

Re: Customer Reviews

Well I had them do the HG + alot more. They were extremely good about being quick at getting things done. Most of the time they were waiting on me to tell them what I wanted or a part I didn't bring with. Most shops would have just ordered the parts new and called it a day. Well for someone like me, I can't do that! So I'm greatful for that. I've only put on 20 miles since I got it back but everything seems 100x better than before :P Anyways I just wanted to post up my experience quick!

Ps - Chris was excellent and calling / answering when I call. He made sure everything was clear and went as planned. We spoke several times a week throughout this process. Kyle and alex did terrific job making sure everything was done cost efficient and well! Thanks guys!

Just saying thanks

Just wanted to say thanks to MAP. I recently had them build and install a shortblock for me. They built me a 2.0 with 8.5:1 Mahle Pistons, Eagle Rods, King Bearings, balance shaft elimination, and that's pretty much the main jist of it. The experience overall was real good. They were able to start on the motor pretty much the day after I gave them the block and crank. The motor was built in a very reasonable amount of time, for a very reasonable price. I dropped off the car before I left for Spain for them to install it while I was there. The day after I got home from Spain (friday 2 days ago), I stopped up there, turned the key, and drove her home. Exactly what I wanted. 210 miles on it as of today, and so far so good.

So I just wanted to say thanks for everything, and dealing with my drunk ass on certain occasions!

Re: Customer Reviews

Well since everyone has been posting their good reviews, i figure i might as well also. My 1g is currently at modern right now getting the block rebuilt with mahle pistons, eagle rods and polishing the crank ect. So far the service has been excellent as everyone else's has been. Chris has kept me updated so far which is great. he also is good about letting me know if they come across problems, and updates of where its at and how much longer. I have not gotten my car back yet, hopefully it will be soon but as of right now im sure it will run great.

Thanks Two Thumbs Up

Matt
