16g?
Im looking at buying a 16G and the one that I found is used and was externally gated to the O2. How can I get it back to Internal gate? Would the stuff from my 14B fit on there? Or do I need to get an Ex gate?

Your 14B stuff will fit on, but then you'll have the smaller 6cm exhaust housing instead of the 7cm common with 16G's.

Psshhhh I got that shit ported Biotch! HAHA But I really do have my 14B ported. But is it possible to "put" a new flapper on? Or do I need the whole Exhaust side?

That depends what they did to modify it for use with an external gate, my guess is that it will not be possible to put an internal gate back on (the flapper is removed and welded shut, the passage will totally be hogged out).

I have a Pic and it was set up for O2 gate so the hole is just open and chillin.

That is true, you're halfway there. So if you can afford it go external. You'll never regret it, and never have to worry about boost creep. I fought boost creep on my 16G from the day I installed an exhaust.
Otherwise post a pic of what you are talking about. But it really does seem like a lot of trouble to go through for what is basically inadequite setup on a decently modded car. |

That is a good point. I did think of that but I thought WGs were like $400 but really they are like $2-$250. Not as bad as I thought.

its just those ghey HKS ones and some of the higher end ones that are like $400 plus

You also have to factor in the cost of having someone make you an 02 housing that will work with an external wastegate. I think you could just swap the exhaust side of your 14b on it.
