delay/misfire?
97 Gst,
my car was throwing a check engine light... took it in to get fixed because i couldnt figure it out. They told me they couldnt figure it out so i went to the internet to start searching. from what i could tell it was the IAC valve.. so i cleaned it and cleaned the throttle body while i was at it and i cleaned the MAF sensor.. check engine light is off and has stayed off but now it feels like there is a delay or probably a misfire. when i accelerate the car feels like its skipping a cylinder.. any suggestions? ( wasnt doing this before i cleaned everything) |

Re: delay/misfire?
so far its helped but it threw the timing off a little.. ill run it for a bit and see what happens
we'll see what happens in the morning when she's running cold |
Re: delay/misfire?
alright so it started doing the hesitation / misfire again since i put the new wires and cables on.. i made sure i set the gap and i have gone over the engine and im pretty sure all boost leaks that are a 5 min fix have been taken care of.. any other suggestions?
