Car is dying Help please
 

Ok probelm is that my car keeps dying. The car idles fine once jumped, can listen to radio and roll down window. My turbo timer says its volts are fine 14 across. I can give it gas and it works fine, goes rite back to idle. But once i tap on the brake the car will die. I have no clue what it is. Also on the way home last night me check engine light came on for about 7-10 seconds. Then went away and nothing happened in that time period that was out of the ordinary will i was driving.
Please help me.

Check the vacuum line going to the brake booster. Does the brake pedal feel really hard when you press it?

Probelm solve had to clean terminals on the battery thanks for the space can close. Thanks colin
