I've been using a Torrent DL client called BitComet for over a year now. One of the features is that they list many of the major torrent websites within the program and allow you to search these sites from within the program. At anyrate here are some good torrent websites:

www.Wtorrent.com
www.TorrentSpy.com (very good)
www.fulldls.com
www.Mininova.org
www.MyBitTorrent.com
www.torrentbox.com
www.torrentPortal.com
www.TorrentBox.com
www.NovaTina.com
www.ThePirateBay.org (Another great one)
www.TorrentReactor.net
www.isohunt.com
www.filesoup.com

Hope that helps.

I still don't understand how all this "torrent" crap works.

Re: Source for torrents...

You download a client (downloading program like Bittorrent and azureus (the one i use) ) then you go to the sites listed above and look for a movie, game, app, song, cd etc... search for it, then click the download link and when the window pops up to Run it, save it or cancel. press open and your Client will start downloading it from other peers, For about a 1.5 gig file it usually only takes around 2 hours. Pretty cool.
It uses things called torrents which are files that contain information about the files that it needs to look for. It finds the users that also have the files and connects to multiple users.
Thats the basic gist of it.

I have always been confused about it too.
