Fitness - Personal Trainers

Anyone else ever resort to signing up with a personal trainer?

I finally broke down this week, and tonight was my first session. Holy shit, she's gonna kill me, in a good way. It's good motivation, and that's what I was lacking the most.

She's mainly working with me on one of those stability balls as I will be out of the area for 2 weeks, and didn't want to not be able to continue working out. Even with that, I'm sore tonight, and not looking forward to the pain I'll be in tomorrow. I'm excited at how much I'll be able to progress if I can keep with it.

I highly recommend it, if you can afford it. :D

I started working about about 3 weeks ago too. I haven't done much on a regular basis for a couple of years. I have been consistently sore the last 3 weeks :D

I'll be one of those personal trainers within the next year. Woo-hoo for doing stuff you love!

That's cool you guys are getting (back) in fitness. Good job. :)

I was thinking about it, but only for weight lifting.

How much does the typical trainer cost per session? I dont really know how that works.

Jana's is $60 a session/hour. IN reality it's not bad if we stop eating out and dropping $40-$80 on a meal once a week for the 2 of us.

I just need to get into some kind of routine as well, but when I get home I just want to relax.
