Wow, that is a crappy deal. Go in for a minor traffic violation and end up getting killed. My condolences.

That is so fucked up. How can a person who got a traffic ticket go to the same jail as a person who robbed a store at knifepoint, and has been assaulting other inmates.

Not only should they not be in the same cell, but nobody should be in a cell with that psycho.

That sucks man, sorry to hear that you knew the guy. I'm kind of scared shitless because my court date is this Wed for "careless driving" so I'm hoping they don't send me to jail... if even for a night.

Thats pretty shitty to hear buddy. That should be an eye opener for all of us. Never try to "chance it". Bad things can happen to the best of people.

i do not care 3 offenses or not. That is something so minor. Now if you did NOT have insurance at all I can see that. But just because of the card?

Wow. Sorry to hear about that man. Something went wrong there with the authorities not communicating with each other. It kind of seems careless of the officers when they said they were not told of the segregation when the corrections commissioner informed them about it. I feel bad for the family. They should atleast get the cell-phone back so his friends know about what happened.
