Ok, so this is where i'm at. I got a 96 awd tsi and i'm not getting any power to the fuel pump relay or the asd relay. I was wondering if anybody else has had this problem ever befor, or is there anybody out there with a idea how to fix it?

Start tracing wires and find out where you lost power. Did you verify that there is no power to the relay with a volt meter or are you just assuming?

Your going to have to start with the small stuff, electrical things on DSMs are hell sometimes. Check your fuse boxes, relays ect. I would have to assume your main relay isn't working. You should here it click when you turn the key off and on.

Where is this main relay? I dont here any clicking when i turn on my car, to start it i take a hot wire off the battery and hook it to the cas, I know bad idea but i had to move it.

No way! I dont have that much money to spend. That would be more than i spent buying the car.

I'm probaly going to dig into it on saturday, I'll trace the wires and see where they go i'll fill you in later.

Re: Electricol problem?

I worked on the car for about an hour today, and i didnt trace the wires back because i would have to open up the main harness and its pretty crapy outside didnt feel like working on it, but i did how ever just hooked a power wire to the one relay and it would fire right up, so i just might add a toggle switch but i dont want to my transmission is coming in a week so i want to get it ready, who thinks that i should use a toggle switch?
