Evo Brakes...
Has anyone swapped or thought about swapping their gst/gsx to the brakes off of an evo?
I looked on tirerack and its the same bolt pattern. So what would be the problem of swapping from the shitty GST single piston calipers to the Evo Brembo brakes? |
Re: Evo Brakes...
do some research, this topic has been covered thousands of times all over the web.

Re: Evo Brakes...
I'm too lazy to search, I don't have access to DSMtuners. So would care to summarize?

Re: Evo Brakes...
Something about buying galant knuckles that cost like $500 or something along those lines. I think that's a fair summary. If you can come across brakes and brackets cheap, do it; otherwise I believe it'll cost you more than a Baer Big Brake kit.

Re: Evo Brakes...
Ive read alittle bit and here is what I got.
1G owners will have to make brackets and whatnot to make them fit. 2G owners you need the 99+ galant JDM knuckles and some guy got them for $200. |

Re: Evo Brakes...
The Baer 13" track kits can be had for under $600 brand new, seems like a better deal after you're done buying and fabbing up stuff.

Re: Evo Brakes...
Baer track kits would probably be better, I know a guy that sold the brakes off of an evo on ebay for $750.
