Gsx cams in gs?
I have a 93 gs. I put a gsx head on it when my timing belt broke the first time. It broke again! I have another gsx head but I think a gs one would be better for it. Is this true? Or would a gsx head be better? Im sure the cams cannot be matched truely with overlap etc. should I use the gsx head with gs cams?

Also, Will a gsx intake work? As long as I change the throttle body assembly?

Re: Gsx cams in gs?
If the GSX head bolts up, why can't you use GSX cams? Those cams were designed to fit in that head, function with that head, and open the valves in that head. Now let's move onto the intake manifold. The runners match up. Why? Because it was designed to distribute air - to that head. My advice - don't go to Napa and get a timing belt.

Re: Gsx cams in gs?
I have a 93 GS and I have a turbo head on it. Works just as good as the stock head. Some switch out the cams thinking that there are more power in the turbo cams however I don't see the difference.

Yeah the timing belt was from napa and only had 8000 miles on it.. Anyhow.. Now I need new pistons.. And since I need new pistons, I am thinking about turboing it.... I'm not sure yet tho.. I think the 93 (my year) and the 90' (parts car) are 2 diff beasts...

Re: Gsx cams in gs?
MOstly the wiring, the ecu.. I have everythign to turbo it except for the ecu. The tps sensor and Maf wiring may be the only thing holding me back from making this car turbo.
