it was a leaking waterpump....

6-bolt engines don't have heavier duty valves. Whatever caused that would've happened on either. I'd guess extreme detonation judging by the hole in that valve.

It's all RTV'd up where the CAM sensor goes. How does it work without a CAM sensor.

....and man is it ever RTV'd up :D

The cam sensor is on the gear end of the intake cam shaft.
