Hey FWD DSMers, what slicks are good for track????
 

Has anyone ever ran slicks on their dsm, i have a 90 TSI FWD and wanna run slicks at the track, anyone know what size slicks will fit???

How much power are you making? Any issues with wheel hop? Standard height is 26", but you can go down some to get more gearing.

Hoosier QTP's 26x9.5x16
M&H 24.5x9.5x15

Remember you also need coilovers since the stock springs are too large to accomodate slicks without huge spacers or backspacing.

dont have problems with wheel hop anymore, having problems with hooking up through 2nd and into 3rd.

I have a set of M&H Racemasters 24.5x9.2x15 that I run and they are awesome. As Steve said you will need to run coilovers to do it right. I ran 1/4" wheel spacers and it worked alright but running spacers is not the best option.

I'd be willing to let these slicks go for a fair price as I'm going to go bigger when my car is back up and running this season.
