Funny sound!
 

I have a 90 GSX and there is a sound coming from the engine, it kinda sounds like a dry power steering pump sound, all the time, but its not, it sounds like its coming from the belt side of the motor. You can kind of feel the sound to at times, it kinda vibrates. Any ideas?

put a long screw driver where you think the sound is coming from and put the handle to your ear, it will let you hear if a bearing is going out, be carefull, too!

You shoulda got rid of those damn balance shafts AJ!!!!!! I'm callin it right now thats it ;)

yeah thats what I think, i think my harmonic balancer is falling apart! So I orderd a fluidamper one. All the rubber around the one on my car now is cracked all the way through so hopefully thats it!

start the engine without alternator, power steering, ac, and power steering pump before you put everything back. if no noise, put everything back together.
