Service Question

Wondering if you have the ability to balance a turbo? Notice a few nicks on the blades here and there. Nothing major, but since i'm rebuilding it, may as well do it.

Let me know.

No, we don't have any turbo rebuilding equipment.

More looking to see if you have a way to see if the turbine is balanced, than need any parts for it. Kit is on my bed right now, time to start tearing in.

Re: Service Question

That requires specialized equipment, a speed shop won't have that. You need a turbo rebuilder, that diesel place doesn't have a good rep.

Re: Service Question

Know of any places that might? Looks like the blades may have got worn out on the exhaust side in the middle of the blade.... how i have no idea. If i get some pictures i'll post them up, but i didn't see that till tonight. 99.9% sure i'd need a new turbine blade to fix it right now.

I haven't heard good things about too many places. If it was me, I would send it to FP.

Yup, FP is one of the few places I'd trust. They are probably a bit pricier, but at least you know its going to get done correctly.

The first post has a link to the only local place I know of. I don't know if anyone (on style) has used them. I would agree with Kracka and JET though, FP, I know they will get it done right.

Thx everyone. May even think about new wheels but we'll see how those are.
