Stalling..Poping
 

Alright guys, I have just got my car back from Mitsubishi Dealers. I've got brand new timing belts, tensioners, drivebelts, pulleys, and waterpump on the car. (1999 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS) manual transmission. And today after school, the engine seems to stall for a sec or two and accelerate right out smooth. Say I am going 35 and full gas pedal on 4th gear and it will stall for sec or two. Now when it stalls, I hear poping noise coming from the driver side. It seems like I can feel it when my foot is on the pedal. It goes to all gears, I havent try it on 5th.
I was thinking misfiring, or probably need fuel system cleaning or change new plugs with wires.
Any suggestion to whats wrong?

well if you just had some work done, mitsubishi should have to look at it..

That must have cost an arm and a leg.
I would just take it back to them to look at.

timing might be off a tooth or something. When did they replace these parts?

yea check out your timing. also its not a bad idea to change your plugs and wires at the same time

I just had the riming belt changed two days ago. I took the car to Mitsubishi today and they scheduled me on Monday to bring it back in. They probably did something wrong.
