I would like to participate in this event, not run it...but I heard registration is already filled up for modern cars? If so, why even bother posting here?

Tom, after talking to the other admins we will refuse these threads until you fairly distribute the registration information for these events through posts like this instead of using your private email list. We feel that it isn't fair that you ask car enthusiasts to help run your events yet are selective as to what car enthusiasts you have participate in events. Most everyone I've talked to didn't know of the hill climb or airport speed run until you asked for workers.

In autocross the same people who participate also help run it. I think you should begin to look in this direction in order to staff your events rather than decide who participates and who doesn't.

I agree with Matt. You're not asking people to participate in your event, you're looking for free labor.
