Window Problem

When I first bought my car.. My passenger side window wouldn't go down if I tried using the drivers side switch.. Well two days ago my window was down and now I can't get it back up using either switch... I have replaced the motor it still doesnt work.. Does anyone have idea's as what else to check.. the drivers side switch still works for the drivers side window.. its a 96 Talon TSI

Sounds like your driver's side switch assembly is faulty. Replace it with either a new one or a known good used one.

Is your window lock on? One night I had the same problem but then I found out my window lock was on.

Yeah, that got me too. I replaced a motor on a 350Z and it still didn't work after, it was the lock switch. Plus I'd already thrown away the old motor. Doh. It probably would've needed a new one before long anyways. They're common for failure.

Wow, really? I can't believe I just did this. Glad I searched before spending $45 for a new motor.
