Getting back into art

So I finally got inspired to do some art again. I woke up with an image in my head, so tonight I sketched it out :)
I made two versions of it. I was bored, so I started crapily coloring in the one with colored pencils :) LOL

This weekend I plan to start painting it

Lol.. I posted this on my local board, and someone got really offended by my "childish drawing" and how it has no guidelines and should follow these lines to be 3d like, and corrected it for me.. lol

I guess some people don't understand surrealist/ abstract art?

What a d-bag, looks great IMO. 10X better than I could ever do free-hand.

As for it being childish, i think thats a childish thing for him to say.

Looks good to me. Better than I could do. Can't wait to see the finished painting

Only in art would a dsm be on the road. You shoulda left it on jackstands. :)
