whats the difference in a 90 to 91 tranny

i am in need of a new tranny soon and i am woundering what the differance is between the two years, "my car is a 90 laser rs FWD"

The 1990 has a different shifter assembly and uses different cables from the 1991-94. The transmissions have different shift levers (90 vs. 91-94).

f$%K thats sucks, eny one know how hard it is to take the bell housing off of a FWD tranny, the sleev that the TOB rides on broke of "dont ask how"
