Ok I was installing Jenny's EGT guage today which was a piece of cake.

But as I was hitting the "A" Pillar back in place the stupid boost Gauge needle fell off.

And for the life of me I can't figure out how the hell to get into the casing with out breaking it.

does anyone know how the hell you disasemble one of these Autometer Boost Gauges?

It's only been in her car for 3 months or so. Think I can swap or return it?

It has a year warranty. I cant send mine back becuase its been over a year but my old one thats just sitting here was not adjusted right and read 2 psi higher then I was really boosting.

So Im not sure about warranties. I have not called the factory though.

You take a hammer to it and buy another for $30. ;)

I was totally thinking about doing someting like that just so that I know how the damn thing is assembled for next time.

I will just be exchanging it as it's only been on the car for 3 months. But damn would be nice if it was something we could fix. Just for things like EclipseTurbo posted. would be nice to be able to just change the needle like you can on the speedo or tach.
