Logging IAT/MAT (Manifold air temp) on stock ECU
Not long ago I had my IM off while doing a headgasket, so I took the opportunity to tap it and install a GM IAT sensor.
Using a hack from evoM, I can now log manifold air temp on the stock ECU using a GM IAT sensor. Works great! This will be an invaluable asset for tuning, and combined with my 3-bar map sensor, guess what's next? :) http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3444/...5e887fb609.jpg Log results from a good 3rd gear pull: http://scheides.com/misc/pics/evo/MA...24Fambient.JPG Orig info: http://forums.evolutionm.net/ecuflas...t-logging.html |

That is super cool. Now you'll know exactly how well your fmic is doing its job all the time.

Definitely cool getting this going today! Excited to get mine setup too.

Re: Logging IAT/MAT (Manifold air temp) on stock ECU
I did some logging on the way into work this morning. DAMN THIS IS AWESOME! Not only can I log maf temp, rpm, timing, coolant temp and knock out of the box, but with all these hacks, I can also wideband o2, manifold pressure, and manifold air temperature. All I need now is some dyno time! :)

You know what is also fun?
Playing with water/methanol injecton and watching the intake air temp change. |
