'98 GSX Buildup...

Ok so last summer I blew the turbo up on my basically stock GSX (at 70,000 none the less, seems odd to me but whatever) So, I took this as a sign that it was time for some major upgrades.... None of this will go in till the roads are salt-free but, here is what I've got so far.

Already Installed...
-50 trim turbo
-1g BOV
-Apexi DP
-Espelir 80mm Cat-back
-K&N intake setup
-The usual pillar gauges

To be installed...
-850cc injectors
-Walbro 255 (Wtf does everyone mean by a rewire on these??)
-DSMlink & Eprom ECU
-Greddy24R FMIC
-Dejon intake pipe
Feel like I'm forgeting something I'll edit if I remember anything....

Need to buy soon...
-Fidanza alum flywheel
-Fidanza 3.2 clutch

So the question is, now mind you I'm pretty much broke right now but i'm wondering what else I would need to get it completely streetable. Also wondering what kind of AWHP i should achieve with this setup.

Other things I think I probably need but wouldn't have to be immediate...
Correct me if i'm wrong...
-Turbo timer
-Boost controller???
-Wideband A/F

Do you have any way to tune it?

I think when you rewire a dsm pump, you actually run new wires all the way to the pump, but a dsm person will have to chime in on that.

A wideband sensor and gauge is a very nice thing to have, but uneccessary if you get it tuned on a dyno.

You're definitely going to need a boost controller if you want to run higher than wastegate pressure. A nice simple manual boost controller is the ticket.

There are plenty of fuel pump rewire how-to write-ups online, but with a 255 pump you probably won't need to with a 50-trim.

I'm gonna have Shane at DB tune it.... so i should be set there.... at the very least they sent out my DSMlink with a rough tune for turbo, injectors, fuel pump and intake setup...

I know I shouldn't even know this seeing as how this was just bolt the turbo on and drive it home, but she pushed 26 with no issue and i'm happy with that so would i need a boost controller?

Skip the turbo timer. And definitely get a wideband.

Clutch?

Is your setup going to be on pump gas?

Yes I want to stick to 92 octane....I know the stock clutch isn't gonna last... I liked my Fidanza setup in my 1g fwd so i'll probably do the same thing, Alum flywheel and a fidanza 3.2 kevlar clutch. P.S. I've got a 6 bolt motor sitting in storage for WHEN this motor goes....

Anyone know if there is a difference between a FWD fidanza flywheel and an AWD? they list em as separate part numbers but stock they are interchangeable aren't they?
