Well first off, I'll say that I'm very lucky to have found such a deal. On chitowndsm a guy put up a thread for a 1990 talon tsi 5spd awd shell. All it's missing is an engine, (which he is gonna pull cause he is gonna keep it for another car) ecu, radio, tranny (has bad syncro's in 1st and 2nd), and the exhaust. It has full interior, driveline, 91 harness swap, body panels, ect.. So I threw up some ridiculous offer as a joke of $200. Next thing I know I get a PM and he starts talking about towing it to my house! So then I'm like sweet! So we talk more and more and he is gonna tow it 3 hours to me all for the price of $230!

Now I can't figure out if I want to part it out cause I really need money for school, or throw an engine in it and maybe a tranny and sell it. I know my friend has been wanting a 1g for quite some time now..

The passenger side is damn clean but the driver side looks like it scraped a pole. I'll see what I can do by buffing it and a good wax.. It also comes with those beastly yellow steelies instead of the rims.

Front bumper is sick!!

haha its ready for a big ole front mount! Just got off the phone with the guy and it didnt rub against a yellow pole, its the reflection of the bush next to the car. So just the fender is bad.

I luv the backwards directional front tires.

That bumpber is totally boss, its like a honda, but backwards!!!

If it were me, I'd keep the car and swap in a motor and tranny. Looks like a pretty good starting point for a project. Not to mention, if you were to sell the rims alone you'd probably make up the purchase price right there.

Def looks like a project! Should be fun though if you have the time and cash to throw at it.

I tried getting rid of a similar car with a 4 bolt on here for $150, but sold some parts and hauled it away to the junk yard because I couldn't find a buyer.

I have no cash to spend on it unless my parents loan me the money. :( That's why I might part it but I will try my hardest not to!

Hmm, I don't remember seeing it? O well..

I was trying to get rid of 2 shells at the time. Nobody was really interested in either at $150 each
