Re: New product devolopment
We're almost finished making the CAS Heat Shield for the EVO... We should have a couple of them to give away at the dyno day as well as some license plate brackets.
Anyone have any ideas on colors for them? We were thinking of doing black, red & polished.. Ideas, Comments, Suggestions are always welcome -Stephan |
Re: New product devolopment
Black, polished, and red (to match the valve cover) sound like good ideas to me.
|
Re: New product devolopment
We also maybe were thinking wrinkle black as well. Thats what Im doing for my valve cover and upper intercooler pipe.

Thank you guys VERY much for donating the CAS shields and the battery tray today! They all looked very nice; I happened to win the black CAS shield and already installed it :D

Re: New product devolopment
How much for a polished one (CAS shield)? I'd like one please :)
Very nice! |
Re: New product devolopment
I got the polished one via my cousin today, Early B-day presents rock :)
I like it, it's polished very well, mirror like. I'm hoping to throw it on tomorrow. Thanks for donating! |

Re: New product devolopment
We got some Radiator brackets cut out today and we will be powder coating and polishing some over the next few days. Here is a sneak peak.
http://i592.photobucket.com/albums/t...cture003-1.jpg http://i592.photobucket.com/albums/t...Picture002.jpg We also started some spark plug covers. But these wont be available for a few weeks. |
Re: New product devolopment
Just a thought: Should there be more rubber on the radiator tabs? The stock ones have a bit more give to them don't they? I just worry about the plastic endtanks and the mounting pins (from the radiator itself) cracking from too much vibration.

Re: New product devolopment
Would it be better to cover the front of the CAS as well?
