tinking of getting a new turbo

I am just thinking of buying a new turbo for the evo. I just want to drive it. It has not gone anywere since the 1 day it ran for the cookout when the turbo blew up before we even left my street.

just looking for input on turbos to look at other than the few I am thinking about right now.
They have to be a divided T4 set up with vband out. looking for around the same size that was on on the car GT40.

not looking to spend a ton of cash on it. under 1200.00 would be great.

I have been looking at

borgwarner s366
or
garrett GT4088 non ball bearing

I had the gt4088r ball bearing turbo and it spooled nice on my 2.3 stroker. What are your goals for this?

lol! How about some billet turbo like shawn (I think, right?) put on his supra. Some 67mm full t4.

Hrm, true! PTE's 6567 perhaps? About the same size and should woop some arse :)

I know shane has a 4294r for sale not looking to spend 1600.00 and I really dont think it fit on the car. The gt40 is already a super tight fit

Re: tinking of getting a new turbo

ya thats what the front clip came with and it was on the car for less than a month till the 50trim went on. I bet I could get to 16g's on the manifold ;)

...You mean, 6765, right?

I got a 6776s....lol

Re: tinking of getting a new turbo

Here's a cheaper alternative than trying to get a 6765:

http://forums.evolutionm.net/evo-ven...ing-turbo.html

basically almost the same but with the FP wheel which is 7 blades, pte has 6 blades.
He might have a T4 TS housing laying around. If not, try to buy it without the housing and grab a T4 TS 1.06 :D.

If I end up getting a diffrent turbo. Its going to be new I am not going to buy a used turbo that could have problems

Re: tinking of getting a new turbo

A 366 would be pretty sweet, but brand new BW's can be kind of spendy. You could try some sort of Holset. Isn't there something like a HX52 or something?

Re: tinking of getting a new turbo

I have found a place to buy a new 366 divided t4 for 1100 shipped
