Polishing Muffler
Hey guys, I'm going to put on the Magnaflow muffler on the Galant. Just wondering if any one has experience with which polishing brand they use and have had good experience with. I've already gotten the sanding down, just need a heads up on which polishing brand I should use. I'll post some pics up as soon as the camera has some battery.

UPDATE:
http://i139.photobucket.com/albums/q...9/DSC05485.jpg Got it sorta shiny. Shiny enough for me. ended with 600 grit ... because I forgot to buy the 2000 grit. 600 is good enough for me though. I don't want a mirror finish. :D BEFORE: http://i139.photobucket.com/albums/q...9/DSC05476.jpg http://i139.photobucket.com/albums/q...9/DSC05483.jpg AFTER: http://i139.photobucket.com/albums/q...9/DSC_0111.jpg http://i139.photobucket.com/albums/q...9/DSC05497.jpg quite happy. I should have taken a picture of it when I took it off. You could not even spot a hint of the "chrome". |

Re: Polishing Muffler
Nice! It works well on all aluminum under the hood including A/C lines, heat shields, ect. use a little 0000 fine steel wool with it & finish with cotton terry towel or paper towel.
