I saw that coming back down from the boundary waters a few weeks ago. I like how it can go either way and makes everyone happy!

I think its starting to get closer to a a conservative country again... You'll be on our bandwagon soon :D

Now, in the next election you liberals will be wiggin out and sayin "the only reason he got elected (the new president) was because of the hatred for Obama!"

Uhmm... no tax laws really took effect that would take taxes. The only taxes im aware of are the refunds for buying a house and shit. So the taxes you are seeing from the fed are mainly from Bush.

You have to work to know what it's like to be taxed. ;)

I'm a libertarian...fiscal conservative, social liberal. I usually end up watching politics at the sidelines, somewhat perplexed. People tend to vote with their wallets and the Republicans have usually been better for that.

That is interesting, since it is the common belief. The democrats don't accept libertarians as their own, even though they agree with most of their social causes (albeit they want them to be voluntary). It just proves my point that it does come down to money.

Both of the mainstream parties think they should be able to tell people what is best for them at all times. Common people are just far too dumb to make decisions on their own...

That's why we have liberals and the DNC. To tell people what to do and where they should spend their money...
