There is a local around here that runs his Galant vr-4. I believe when I saw it, it was being used as a 00 stage car (one of the cars that goes through the course before the rest of the race cars go through) sweet vid!

They make great rally cars!

That would be Todd Jarvey. He used to rally it many years ago. He occasionally rallycrosses it. But mainly he runs it as the "0" car at Ojibwe.

It's kind of funny, Todd's the last car before the first competitor starts and I'm the first car down the stage after the last competitor. I usually do safety sweep duties. Todd is a hell of a good driver in that Galant. He's a nice guy and a good friend. You coming up for Ojibwe this year Andrew?

My parents are going up there to help out. They have their HAM radio License and so they help coordinate or help with the staging.

I might tag along and do another crowd control.
I have a picture of the car. I should see if I can dig it out somewhere and show it.

So yeah if you are the "0" car you are running it at full race speed. That galant was MOVING!

I've been the one driving the silver CR-V at the back of the pack over the past few years. I'll be going up to help out at the Nemadji rallies this year too. Are you thinking about going up for those too? They are the one day events that are about an hour and a half north of the cities.

Have your parents been doing rallies long? Who are they? Just curious if I know them.

Yeah, Todd is really good at driving fast in the woods. That's one of the reasons he gets to do "0" duties. He gets to the end and radios back that the stage is ready to go and they let the cars loose.
